“The sequence of industrial, administrative, or other processes through which a piece of work passes from initiation to completion.” – lexico.com

What is a quality workflow?  How do we develop it?  Below are elements of the production cycle that most creative people move through as they create something.  First, we must identify the stages of project production. What is each stage and what are the quality checks for each stage.  Read on and find out!

Stages of Creation Development

Inspiration

How do we find ideas to develop?

we could all just brainstorm together and come up with some ideas or maybe find some inspirations on any type of source

Intention

How do we clarify our specific goal(s) for a project?

explain and give clear specific answers for goals

Pre-production

How can we brainwrite, brainstorm, storyboard, and plan our ideas at this phase?

we could maybe go in a breakout room and give our ideas? or find a way for everyone to communicate and talk to eachother

Production

How do we communicate with each other and execute our plan for this phase? This is where we actually make the project.

we could all be on a call on like a class discord and have a channel for each group or maybe on like skype or some type of source where we can all communicate to eachother then exectute the plan

Post-production

How do we communicate with each other and execute our final stages of the project for this phase? This is where we publish the project.

we communicate from all the stuff i said above and everyone check the project and see if we need to fix or adjust anything with the project and check if everyone is good with it

Presentation/Performance

How do we share our project with our learning community, advisory members, and the world

we could do a screenshare or a video recording and post it to everyone

Feedback

How do we conduct a feedback session at the end of the project development cycle?

we could do like a survey or maybe a jamboard and giveback feedback and suggestions on what we could fix
